About Me

Hello!

My name is Aidan and I am an actor based in New York City. I recently graduated with a BFA in Acting from Boston University, which is considered one of the top acting programs in the country. There, I cultivated a versatility and reliability on both stage and screen through my pursuit of Shakespeare, my involvement in diverse projects from contemporary text to musical theatre, as well as my experience with Art House, the sitcom pilot developed and filmed in-house my senior year. I have also been fortunate enough to study in Europe at both the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and Prague Shakespeare Company, which shaped my appreciation for different styles and techniques, as well as introduced me to a community of exciting young artists who are already positioning themselves to be the future of this industry.

Since graduating, I have found success in both the theatrical and cinematic spheres. On June 10th it was announced that I would be the first actor to take on the role of Scorpius Malfoy in the first ever National Tour of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I was also cast as Henry Fleming, the lead of the newest film adaptation of Red Badge of Courage directed by Kevin Hershberger, which is currently in production.

The thing I pride myself on most, however, is my aptitude in partnering with playwrights and directors on new projects for theater and film. Recent collaborations include:

  • I collaborated with Writer Ally Sass and Directors Erica Terpening-Romeo and Jamey Miller to originate the role of Avery in the exciting and masterful new play Incels and Other Myths, portraying him in both the Boston and New York productions. This play changed the course of my life and work, showing the caliber of art that is possible with a visionary playwright, an exceptional creative team, and a uniquely dedicated cast.

  • I am also a frequent collaborator of up-and-coming director Dylan Avillanoza, for whom I co-directed his first short film "Just a Gig.

  • My newest collaboration came in the form of Twelve Elephants, a new play which premiered at The Tank, an NYC playhouse for new and exciting works, this summer. The playwright, a multi-hyphenate genius of the stage, Megan Higley, collaborated with me to create a short, yet impactful run of this short and impactful play. She wrote the play with us in mind, creating a special and intimate show that will not be our last.

Experiences like these solidified in me the importance of collaboration, communication, and experimentation in the rehearsal room; I try to bring these tenets to every process I am a part of. Other recent projects include Once at Boston University's premier Booth theater, Timon of Athens at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Much Ado About Nothing and King Henry VI Part III at Prague Shakespeare Company, and La Lengua No Tiene Hueso by Gaby Tovar at Moonbox Productions.
